“Along the Right Path 1-3”
“Along the Right Path” is inspired by the promise that even in life’s most challenging seasons, there is a path leading to hope and renewal. At the end of every valley lies brightness, and this artwork reflects the journey from darkness into light. It’s a reminder that no matter how long or difficult the road, His guidance leads us to peace and restoration. I wanted to capture the feeling of reaching the threshold of a new season—a place where struggle gives way to hope and faith grows stronger.
I used soft pink, yellow and orange to symbolize the hope and brightness at the path’s end. Blues and greens represent the valleys we walk through, while layered textures and flowing forms convey the transition from darker times into a season of light and renewal.
“No Fear In The Darkest Valley”
Life often brings seasons of uncertainty and struggle, where the path ahead feels hidden in shadow. Inspired by Psalm 23, “No Fear In The Darkest Valley” reflects the truth that even in the darkest valleys, we are not alone. Jesus brings light, life, and unwavering guidance through every trial. This piece serves as a reminder that fear has no hold when we walk with Him. It’s a visual expression of hope and trust, reminding viewers that His presence transforms even the darkest moments into opportunities for faith and peace.
Symbolic colors represent Jesus in the darkest valley: red for His sacrifice and love, white for the Prince of Peace, and light blues for living water and renewal. A dark brown background evokes shadowy valleys, contrasting with vibrant hues that embody Christ’s presence and hope.
“Covered in Delight”
"Covered in Delight" is an intuitive expression of the biblical theme of being covered in God’s delight. The pieces in this series are small, intuitive, and expressive, using colors and shapes to capture the vibrant, celebratory nature of God’s love.
“Green Pastures 1-2”
Green Pastures draws inspiration from the beautiful, poetic imagery of Psalm 23. This timeless poem speaks of rest and peace found in green fields and reflects the hope and healing that faith can bring. There is always One who guides and protects us, even in moments of doubt or uncertainty. Through this piece, I wanted to share that sense of shelter and reassurance—a reminder that we are not alone in times of struggle.
I layered shades of sage, olive, and emerald with soft colors to bring warmth and vitality to the piece. My brushstrokes range from sweeping to detailed, capturing the richness of a living field. Through these elements, I hoped to create a space that feels both restful and full of life.
“Lacking Nothing 1-2”
The feeling of lacking something goes beyond just material possessions; it affects our minds and spirits too. This is something we all experience. While we can easily see physical shortages, mental and spiritual struggles often show up in subtle ways, such as anxiety, loneliness, or a sense of meaninglessness. I created this artwork to inspire those who feel this way to find a mindset of contentment. The phrase "Lacking nothing" reflects a deep trust in knowing that by relying on Him who provides everything, we can experience true satisfaction and peace.
I used thick textures and overlapping shapes to represent abundance and overflow. Vibrant colors—soft orange, blush pink, and olive green—express the quiet contentment I hope to share, creating a piece that feels both joyful and spiritually uplifting.
“Hill of Flowers”
This painting celebrates the “top of the mountain” moments in life—the joyful high points that remind us of hope and beauty. Just as the darkest valleys have their lowest points, there are also moments when we rise above, surrounded by the unexpected joy of wildflowers blooming in celebration. "Hill of Flowers" is a visual expression of those moments when hope comes together and overflows. It’s a reminder to savor the joy and beauty that God places along our journey, even in the smallest and most unexpected ways.
This piece bursts with vivid colors—purples, yellows, greens, blues, pinks, and whites—representing the wildflowers that blanket the hill in joyful celebration. Layers of color and texture convey the abundance and vitality of this moment, creating an uplifting and cheerful atmosphere.
“Me, Wildflower”
"Me, Wildflower" is a self-portrait inspired by how God created me—vibrant, joyful, and free. Like wildflowers, I don’t follow strict rules but grow in unexpected ways, bursting with creativity and color.
This piece is a bouquet of colors, shapes, and patterns, symbolizing the unexpected beauty and joy of wildflowers. The playful, layered textures and bold, vivid hues come together to reflect the spontaneity and energy of a wildflower’s spirit—free, colorful, and full of life.
“Breath of Fresh Air”
"Breath of Fresh Air" captures the feeling of renewal, clarity, and lightness that comes with stepping into a new season. Like the first deep inhale after a storm or the crisp morning air that awakens the senses, this piece symbolizes a release from heaviness and the arrival of something fresh and uplifting. It’s about letting go, making space for new beginnings, and embracing the beauty of the present moment.
Soft, airy brushstrokes and flowing layers create a sense of movement and openness. Light blues, fresh greens, and soft whites evoke the feeling of a cool breeze, while hints of warm tones bring energy and balance. The composition is intuitive and expressive, mirroring the freedom and ease that comes with a deep breath of renewal.
“When the Storm Passes”
"When the Storm Passes" captures the beauty that emerges after life’s storms. Like the land that becomes green and lush after the rain, this piece symbolizes new life and growth that springs forth from what was once dry and barren. Though it may not immediately become a vast forest, each new sprout is a sign of hope and renewal. It’s a reminder that after every storm, a new season of growth begins.
Sage and bright greens dominate this piece, symbolizing the fresh growth that follows the rain. The textures and layers reflect the quiet, steady emergence of new life.
“Rejoiced Over With Singing”
Inspired by the verse in Zephaniah, "Rejoiced Over with Singing" depicts God’s joy over us. These intuitive pieces express the overwhelming love and celebration that God feels for His people, a visual representation of His joy pouring over us in song and delight. The pieces in this series are small, intuitive, and expressive, using colors and shapes to capture the vibrant, celebratory nature of God’s love. Just as we experience spontaneous expression of joy, so too can God, as He joyfully celebrates and delights in His people.
“Living Water”
"Living Water" symbolizes the transformative power of water as a source of life. Just as water revives dry land, it nourishes and restores, quenching our deepest thirst. This piece reflects the idea that true hope is renewed and strengthened through the life-giving force that sustains us, offering restoration and vitality in times of need.
Flowing blues and soft whites represent the essence of water, with textured layers capturing its refreshing, life-affirming qualities. The piece evokes the movement of water, symbolizing how hope is nourished and revitalized by the source that sustains us.
“Peacefully In Over My Head”
"Peacefully in Over My Head" speaks to moments when we feel like we’re sinking in deep waters, unable to escape. It’s about trusting God’s help when we’re overwhelmed, knowing His goodness is chasing after us. The ocean may feel frightening, but it’s in these moments we see Him prove He is our helper. This piece captures that sense of surrender, where all we can do is be still and trust in His presence.
Shades of blue dominate the piece, symbolizing the vastness and depth of the ocean. The large size of the painting represents the overwhelming feeling of being "in over your head." Accents of red, yellow, and white bring warmth and hope, reminding us that God’s help is always near, even in the deepest waters.
